What’s Twitter?

Yesterday I was at the Virginia Chandler Dykes luncheon representing for Texas Woman’s University and no one at my table had ever heard of Twitter. Twitter? What’s that? They exclaimed as if I was talking about a new bird feeder. “Twitter is micro-blogging and it’s awesome, it’s a great networking tool and a way for people with similar interests to interact with each other.”
